Andrew Sudderth

Andrew Sudderth, affectionately known as “Sudd”, joined SHOP Companies Austin as a Partner.  He has represented tenants and landlords, in markets large and small, throughout Texas and Oklahoma. 

Prior to joining SHOP, Sudd was a Senior Vice President at The Retail Connection for 18 years.  Born and raised in Dallas, TX, he spent the first seven years of his career in the DFW office.  In the fall of 2012 he was given the opportunity to be a culture setter in the newly opened Austin office. 

Over his career he has represented properties for institutional owners like: Kimco, Heitman, Billingsley, and AMReit.  His focus on pad real estate has allowed him to work with and learn from some of the market’s premiere developers, companies such as: The Seitz Group, Vaquero Ventures, Ponderosa Development, and Primax Properties.

On the tenant side he has proudly represented Lifetime Fitness, Take 5 Oil, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Xponential Fitness, Dollar Tree, PLS Check Cashers, Freebird’s World Burrito, Five Guys, Tractor Supply, Advance Auto Parts, Chicken Salad Chick, Burger King, Tropical Smoothie Café, and Range USA.      

Sudderth received his Bachelor of Arts from Austin College in three years with a degree in International Economics and French, with a minor in Art.  Shortly after graduation he completed an MBA with the University of Dallas specializing in Sports and Entertainment Management.

His fondness of land and development projects stems from his family ranch in West Texas, home-steaded by his great-great grandfather in 1889.  A deep-rooted Texan, the only thing he loves more than his ranch is his family.  Married to his college sweetheart, Britt, they have three 3 boys: Liam, Dillon, and Grey.
