Tommy Tucker

Tommy Tucker is a partner of SHOP Companies and the founder of the Investment Sales division. Tommy specializes in the sale of multi-tenant shopping centers, urban real estate and single-tenant net leased properties throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area and across the southwest.  Tommy has closed more than 400 transactions totaling over 7,700,000 square feet of GLA with an aggregate value in excess of one billion six hundred and thirty nine million dollars ($1,639,000,000).

Tommy been actively involved in commercial real estate since 2005, starting with Marcus & Millichap, and ultimately earning numerous accolades along the way.  He transitioned in 2011 to help start an investment sales team platform at Dallas based United Commercial Realty (UCR), and integral in its sales platform’s rise to national prominence.  Tommy works closely with owners to fully examine all aspects of a property including current performance, long term potential, submarket analysis and optimal market positioning. The process consists of serving as a consultant and advisor to clients first, and secondly providing transaction services as a result of the relationships created from analyzing and adding value to the investment ownership process. He and the Investment Sales Team are consistently able to deliver best in time data in the market and maximize value for his clients.  

Additionally, Tommy provides a portion of his time pro bono to churches, schools and non-profits.  This pro bono work comprises transactional work for purchasing and selling as well as consulting, for reimagining campuses and properties.   Born and raised in Houston, Tommy Tucker has lived his entire life in Texas, including over 20 years in Dallas. Married with four children, Tommy has his roots planted firmly in Texas.
