Casa View

SHOP Development redeveloped Casa View Shopping Center in Far East Dallas (Ferguson & Gus Thomasson).  The City of Dallas is behind a major "street scape" infrastructure project, and nearly $20 million is being invested into the overall redevelopment (new roads, new landscaping, new lighting, new sidewalks, new parking lots, etc).  In addition, in partnership with the City of Dallas, SHOP Development completed a sensitive restoration of this historic property, which includes landscape upgrades, a new parking lot, new site lighting, new pylon sign, the restoration of the existing canopy, and a complete reimaging of the courtyard. 

There is incredible momentum to reestablish this intersection as “the downtown of far East Dallas”. Based on the density and continued wave of gentrification in East Dallas, this in-fill intersection provides a great opportunity for restaurants and retailers to fill an important void.
