Born out of a desire to have better, healthier and more affordable campus food options, sweetgreen was founded in 2006 by Nicolas Jammet, Nathaniel Ru, and Jonathan Neman after graduating from Georgetown University. Well over a decade later, sweetgreen is an established American fast casual restaurant chain that serves salads, warm bowls and plates.
