Ann Heffington

Ann joined SHOP Companies as the Marketing Coordinator and Admin for the Austin office. Her day-to-day operations include managing marketing campaigns, designing property brochures, updating site plans, and creating presentations.

Ann began her career with Booz Allen Hamilton (now Strategy&) as a business strategy consultant, advising numerous Fortune 500 clients.  After graduate school, she held business development and executive branding positions for a global luxury hotel brand as well as a full-service hotel brand with Carlson Companies in Minneapolis, Minnesota and completed transactions with combined values over $1.5 billion during her tenure.  She is extensively trained in the luxury travel sector and extended her luxury travel expertise to localized independent and boutique hotel projects when she joined the Marchbanks Company as a Managing Director in 2010.  In 2016, she founded Open Six Interests and specializes in hospitality, focusing efforts on business turnarounds, investment opportunities and consulting in Austin. 

Ann holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and three undergraduate degrees from the University of Texas at Austin.  She has worked domestically and internationally.
