Biography

Ashley O’Malley brings a strong and established track record working on high profile mixed use projects to the Specialty Project Leasing team. Ashley uses her knowledge to create successful advisory and consulting services to a range of current leasing projects including ground up development, redevelopment and re-merchandising of existing centers. Her retailer relationships, creativity in remerchandising and knowledge of fashion brands and trends has aided in her ability to bring first-to-market retailers to properties that are in high competition with others. 

Ashley was formerly a Vice President at CBRE|UCR for 9 years.  She got her start in the business on the leasing of lifestyle centers including The Shops at Highland Village (Highland Village, TX), Watters Creek (Allen, TX), Providence Town Center (Collegeville, PA), and Jefferson Pointe (Fort Wayne, IN).  Additionally, she handled the remerchandising and leasing of The Shops of Highland Park (Highland Park, TX), Preston Oaks (Dallas, TX), Design District (Dallas, TX), The Pavilion on Lovers (Dallas, TX) and Preston Park Village (Plano, TX).  Ashley played a principal role in leasing The Shops at Park Lane in Dallas, a 550,000 SF of retail and restaurants, 500,000 SF of office and currently 325 residential units and is currently over 90% leased.  Additionally, Ashley assisted in the remerchandising of the Knox District bringing first to the market retailers Sid Mashburn, Marine Layer, and Aesop as well as a chef driven seafood/oyster restaurant.

Prior to joining UCR, Ashley began her real estate career at Trammell Crow Company where she spent 2 years in office leasing and 2 years as a real estate manager for Fedex Kinko’s Office in the Northeast and Southeast including DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Arkansas.

Ashley received her Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas in Austin.  She enjoys spending time with her children and husband Justin, traveling and volunteering with the Junior League of Dallas and Young Texans Against Cancer.
