Clayton Medlenka

Clayton joined SHOP Companies Houston office in June 2025, where he focuses on tenant/landlord representation and fee development. A native of Houston’s Memorial area, Clayton brings valuable local insight and a strong understanding of the city’s retail landscape and market dynamics. He has worked with clients such as Dollar Tree, Jiffy Lube, CVS, Pause Wellness Studio, and Movement Stores.

Before joining SHOP Companies, Clayton interned at NewQuest Properties and The Retail Connection, both based in Houston. These experiences allowed him to gain hands-on industry knowledge and build meaningful relationships with professionals across the Houston commercial real estate community.

Clayton earned a degree in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate from the University of Arkansas, along with a minor in Marketing. He is a licensed Texas Real Estate Salesperson and an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
