Evan Poole

Evan Poole is an Associate with SHOP Development, the investment and development platform of SHOP Companies, focused on the acquisition, development, and repositioning of retail, mixed-use, and hospitality assets across the United States.

Evan plays a cross-functional role within SHOP Development, supporting financial underwriting, capital structuring, lender coordination, and asset-level reporting. His responsibilities include pro forma modeling, lease and tenant review, preparing investment and loan packages, and asset management. Evan also helps manage the existing portfolio by monitoring project performance and contributing to long-term, value-creation strategies.

Prior to joining SHOP Development, Evan worked as an Investment Sales Associate at Matthews Real Estate specializing in multi-tenant retail, where he sourced and underwrote over $375M in assets and successfully transacted on more than $25M worth of retail assets.

Evan graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South where he was a Captain on the Men’s Soccer Team.  In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and tennis, hanging out with friends, and taking his dog on walk on the Katy Trail.
