Landry Kemp
Landry Kemp joined SHOP Companies in 2017 and specializes in both Project Representation and Land Development, with a strategic focus on retail corners, single / multi-tenant pad sites and developer-to-end-user Land acquisition & disposition. His expertise spans consulting, brokerage, and execution; delivering measurable value to clients across Dallas-Fort Worth, with a strong concentration in Collin County through extensive insight into Texas’ high-growth suburban markets.
His experience at SHOP includes brokering more than 1,000 lease and sale transactions, representing over $500 million in total deal volume. He proudly works with a diverse range of ownership groups; including institutional REITs, out-of-state investors, merchant developers, private family offices, and local generational landowners turning complexity into optionality for long-term value.
As a senior member of the SHOP Project Rep division, Landry’s platform includes a portfolio exceeding 2 million square feet of retail space in nearly every DFW retail corridor. Notable assignments include Addison Walk, Frisco Market Center, District 121, Frisco Square, Keller Marketplace and numerous other landmark assets across North Texas.
Before entering commercial real estate, he directed R&D initiatives for Fortune 500 energy companies in the technology consulting industry. He earned dual degrees in Marketing and Economics from the University of Arkansas, graduating early with honors.
A native of McKinney, Texas, Landry remains deeply connected to the community where he was raised. Outside of work, he is a devoted father, an active volunteer through faith-based organizations, enjoys time with family, and exploring the mountains of Colorado.
