Ryan Dayton

Ryan Dayton oversees asset management for the SHOP Development team.  As Asset Manager, Ryan helps manage the company’s diverse real estate lease portfolio and strategic initiatives.  His role includes monitoring leasing activity to ensure maximum occupancy and income, managing the tenement process, and collaborating closely with property management teams to drive value across the portfolio.  Ryan plays an active role in the review and due diligence of legal documents, financial reports, operating projections, sales comparisons, and lease negotiations, while also assisting in many aspects of the development process and providing investment recommendations related to renovations, capital expenditures, rental rates, and deal strategy.

A graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Finance, Ryan brings a deep experience in commercial real estate finance and asset management.  Prior to joining SHOP, he served as the Director of Finance at Woodbine Development Corporation, where he provided asset management oversight and directed financing efforts for a diverse real estate portfolio with a primary focus on hotels, resorts, multi-use land, and mixed-use developments.

Originally from Tulsa, Ryan now lives in Plano, TX with his wife, Darcy, and their two children, Tanner and Morgan.  In his free time, he enjoys watching his kids’ sporting events, playing golf when he can, cheering on college football, and spending quality time with his family.
