Teresa Prewitt

Teresa joined SHOP Companies in September 2025, bringing over 30 years of experience in accounting and financial leadership across commercial real estate, professional services, manufacturing, and construction-related industries. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Tyler. Prior to joining SHOP, Teresa served as Senior Property Accountant at Lincoln Property Company in Dallas, where she managed full-cycle accounting for a complex commercial portfolio and supported redevelopment projects. She has deep expertise in GAAP-compliant financial reporting, process optimization, system implementations, and lender compliance. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at DMA Solutions Inc. as Finance Director, Creative Fragrances Ltd. as Controller, and R D Ryan & Associates, PC, where she provided outsourced accounting services to a diverse client base.

In her spare time, Teresa enjoys playing golf, traveling with friends, and cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events.
