Thomas focuses on Landlord representation, specializing in both traditional project leasing as well as high profile legacy retail assets in the urban core of DFW. Prior to joining SHOP Thomas’ last 7 years were spent solely handling Greenway Investment Company’s 700,000sf retail portfolio with a long term ownership perspective. Being within an ownership organization Thomas was able to add value through understanding cost of ownership and long term positioning of a retail assets.
At Greenway Thomas handled their Uptown Dallas retail portfolio as well as high profile centers at Lovers and Inwood, Preston Royal, and Lakewood Town Center as well as ground up developments in Richardson (Eastside), Las Colinas (Las Colinas Park), and Southlake (Kimball Crossing and Carroll Point). All of which operate at very close to 100% occupancy.
Thomas received his Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Southern Methodist University. He currently serves as a board member of the Uptown Public Improvement District, is the Chairman of the Uptown Marketing Committee, and serves on the steering committee for Dallas Ciclovia. He and his wife Brittany also serve as the inaugural Chairmen of the Friends of Griggs Park organization.
