First originating as a hot dog cart in New York City's Madison Square Park, Shake Shack's immediate popularity and long lines promoted the stand to quickly move into a permanent location. Modeled after a classic roadside burger stand, the restaurant experienced immediate success and has grown into over 375 locations domestically and internationally. The gourmet fast casual restaurant expanded their menu to include hamburgers, crinkle-cut fries and delicious milkshakes alongside their famous hot dogs.
