Established in 1643, on the threshold of the reign of Louis XIV, Cire Trudon is the oldest working wax maker in the world. The factory has spanned the centuries, modernizing and adapting throughout its history. For several decades, Cire Trudon has been developing scented candles in partnership with renowned perfumers and, as part of its partnership with the RMN, the French national museum council also offers reproductions in colored waxes. Since 2017, Trudon additionally carries a collection of eight skin fragrances for men and women.
